UPHESC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria 2021: UPHESC sets the eligibility criteria for the Assistant Professor Exam 2021. These are the minimum parameters or qualifications required to be eligible for the exam and given post. The final UPHESC Assistant Professor Eligibility 2021 have been released along with the official notification. 

UPHESC Assistant Professor Age Limit

There is no minimum age limit for the UPHESC Exam 2021. However, the candidate must not be more than 62 years of age as of 01 July 2020. The UPHESC Assistant Professor Age relaxation is also provided for various reserved categories.

UPHESC Assistant Professor Educational Qualification 2021

To be eligible for the Assistant Acharya post, UPHESC has mentioned the following educational qualification. 

  • The candidate must have a master’s degree from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
  • The minimum aggregate marks in the Master’s must be 55 %.

Apart from fulfilling the above qualifications, the applicant must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2021) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR NET, or a similar test accredited by the UGC at the National level or SLET/SET of only the State of U.P.

OR

The candidates must have been awarded a PhD. Degree as per the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M. Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Minimum qualifying marks

  • Reserved Category- 50 % 
  • General Category – 55%
